White Rocks

The iconic ‘White Rocks’ offers it all to the gravel racer with a roller coaster course showing off some of the vistas of North Otago

2025 RESULTS 2025 SERIES RESULTS

The White Rocks course features wide panoramic views of the Waitaki and Kakanui Mountains and includes some thrilling downhill sections. Starting and finishing in the most surreal setting of the Elderslie Estate, steeped in farming history and historical buildings, the White Rocks is a “must ride” circuit for all abilities and ages.

There are two grades to enter this year, Competition (shorter course) and Championship (longer course) with two category classes in each grade (Ride Strong for the Farming Community and all other) and separate age groups for both males and females. We will not be running an e-bike category this year. Points will be rewarded by finishing order, i.e. one point for first, 2 points for second etc, with final series placings determined by the lowest combined score from your best three events.

A current race licence that is affiliated with Cycling New Zealand is a requirement. If you do not hold a licence, you can apply at https://www.cyclingnewzealand.nz/clubs-and-membership/becoming-a-member-2/. We can arrange a licence for the series at a cost of $22.50. We will email you separately to arrange this.

Sign-on will be at Enfield Domain, Weston-Ngapara Rd, North Otago from 9am until 10.15am, riders briefing that all must attend at 10.30am and racing starting around 11am.

Prizegiving will be held at the Fort Enfield Tavern right opposite the start/finish and include: Event podium medals and series medals, crowning of 2026 Series Champions, Ride Strong Series Champions, Geoff Lienert Series Cup, Adair Craik Series Cup and Tiger Roland Trophies. Spot prizes sponsored by Martyns Cycles, Hub and Sprocket and White Stone Cheese, Farm Strong $1,200.00 holiday voucher draw for Ride Strong entrants and lastly the draw to win the $10,000.00 3T Primo WPMT Gravel Bike kindly sponsored by Euro Cycling NZ and powered bt Rush-Cycling. Make sure you are registered at https://eurocycling.co.nz/pages/gravel-in-paradise-2026 to go in the draw! You must be registered and present.

Full category and age group information is available on the entry form.
